Research Project Title: Social Security in Palestine
Research Project Purpose: This research aims to compare Social Security Law in Canada (Montreal/ Québec) and the current controversial Social Security Law in the West Bank addressing address the following questions:
The validity of social security in a –non-state situation
The legality of the people who are in charge of formulating the act/ law
The benefits and the disadvantages of the law for vulnerable people: old people, children, the sick, and the unemployed
Expected Results: Taking lessons learned from the applied social security in Canada and give recommendations accordingly for the benefits of applying a better social security law for Palestinians.
