The 3rd  Focus Meetings Event took place in Athens-Greece, together with MED-dialogue project partners, and members from Mosaic Project, by inviting a high level experts from the MPC, representing industry, academia and ministries.

The Academy nominated  Mr. Florid Zorba from Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology and Dr. Maan Bsiso from Palestinian Information Technology Association of Companies  (PITA) to attend the meetings, and over two days they discussed the Current ICT activities and future strategic priorities, and ICT vision for the MPC.

The main aim of this meeting was to identify and discuss ICT policies and priorities, including innovation and mobilizing the private sector, and the resulting position papers will serve as an input to the EU-MPC Dialogue. In this sense the MED-Dialogue Focus Events are preparatory meetings, providing input to the EC policy and strategy development towards the MPC.
