Dr. Shadi Abudalfa received the BSc and MSc Degrees both in Computer Engineering from the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG), Palestine in 2003 and 2010 respectively. In 2013, he joined King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) as a full time student (scholarship) to pursue the PhD degree. In 2018, he completed his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at KFUPM.
He is an Assistant Professor at the University College of Applied Sciences, Palestine. From July 2003 to August 2004, he worked as a Research Assistant at Projects and Research Lab in IUG. During same period, he worked as a Teaching Assistant at Faculty of Engineering in IUG. Abudalfa is a member of IEEE and serves as reviewer through various international conferences and journals.
His current research interests include artificial intelligence, data mining, activity recognition, machine learning, and sentiment analysis.
