The OWSD-Palestine National Chapter Steering Committee meeting was held on 13th September 2020, and referring to the last meeting held on 10th August 2020.  The committee discussed the engagement of the registered members at the chapter’s activities through establishing subcommittees.  To date there is about 94 members in the chapter from different STEM specialties.  A google invitation was sent to all members to join the committee of their interest.  In a hope that this engagement would strengthen the role of researchers and bridge between Palestinian researchers locally and in the Diaspora. These committees are;

• Research Committee
• Continuing Education Committee
• Fund Raising Committee
• Membership and recruiting Committee
• Outreach and community Committee
• Communication and Media Committee

Also, the EC will start with preparing an agreement cooperation with Tamkeen initiative, which is a women's youth organization concerned with supporting and empowering distinguished Palestinian women in all scientific, practical, social and legal fields.
