Dr. Maher Qarawani

Dr. Maher Qarawani is a full professor at Alquds Open University since 2017. Prior joining Alquds Open University in 2007, he held Chairman of Mathematics Department position at Hebron University, where he had taught since 1994.  He received his PhD degree in Differential Equations from Odessa State University in 1994. For the last eight years Dr. Qarawani has been active in studying the Asymptotic Behavior and Hyers-Ulam Stability Theory of Differential Equations and Difference-differential Equations. He  published 15  papers on these topics. 

In addition to his research work, Prof. Qarawani has been an editor and  a reviewer for many scientific journals such as the Advanced Research, Elsevier, the British Journal of Mathematics & Computer Science, An-Najah University Journal for Research - A (Natural Sciences) and
Journal of technology and applied sciences at Alquds Open University. He has been an external examiner for master's theses at Al-Najah, Alquds  and Hebron Universities.

Currently He is working on Hyers-Ulam and Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability and  instability for linear and nonlinear differential equations and integro- differential equations. He has got significant results for linear and nonlinear differential equations of first and second order. Then he had extended the obtained results to nonlinear differential equations of nth order.
